For the launch of Eminem’s new book, ‘The Way I Am’, Shady Records and Jordan Brand got together, again, for a collaboration on another classic Jordan silhouette!

Marshall Mather’s, aka Eminem, aka Slim Shady is finally making his return to reclaim his spot among the best in the rap game. He held a release party for his new book, Eminem: The Way I Am, and his latest freestyle on Shade 45 is causing a stir throughout the hip hop music sites. But, now your can throw this upcoming Air Jordan II (2) sneaker into the mix of all the news, which was actually inspired by his new book. The sneaker features a  grey, red, and black colorway on a leather and canvas upper with Em’s handwritten lyrics to “The Way I Am” along the ankle collar and toe-box.  In addition Jordan Brand will also release an additional “The Way I Am” t-shirt with the shoes. Only 313 pairs are scheduled for release, which has a significance as well because 313 is his hometown area code (Detroit) and a portion of the proceeds from the shoe’s sales will go towards the Marshall Mathers Foundation which helps disadvantage children in the Michigan area.  No official release date or price has been mentioned at this time but when they are released they will be sold exclusively through the Jordan Brand ‘Flight Club’ webstore!
